Related subreddits. The Office Resouces. 2, 3, 5, 4, 1, 7, 9, 8, 6 I think that's my order. Two and three were choc full of incredible episodes and carried the Jim/Pam romance at its full height. The first dundies and the finale of season 2 were probably the best moments of the whole show for me. Also had some great cringe moments in there, like the Vance's wedding and proposal to carrol.

After that 5 and 4 come close, with a lot more great humour and in particular I really enjoyed the michael scott paper company arc, among other chapters that came and went during this time. Andy bernard was at his best around about now!

I then chose Season 1 followed by seven. 1 was a great season, but it was much unlike the rest of the show, and the first few episodes in particular it seemed to really struggle having an identity away from the british office. But it was still great. Seven comes after that, mainly because the show had a lot of strong direction the whole way through it - what with Michael scott leaving. He had a proper sendoff and 'Michaels last dundies' has to be another highlight for me. Season 9 and Season 8.

The show did lose some of it's steam, I feel, after michael left and the humour was very different in these later seasons. Andy and Erin never quite captured the audiences like Jim and Pam did, but there were some decent moments to be found. Season nine was stronger than Season eight for me because, again, they had direction. David wallaces return was strong. There was some real drama back to Jim/pam which was believable and compelling, while the last few episodes really shone above and beyond everything else.

I think season nine gets a worse rap than it deserves, though it's not completely unwarranted. Lastly I have season six. There was a single strong episode here for me, the one where Michael visits the board of directors as dundermifflin falls to bankruptcy, but otherwise I found it really unenjoyable. Jim becoming co-manager didn't seem to serve much purpose and made the once relateable prankster character feel somewhat off. Michael dating Pams mother marked a really wierd shift in Pam's character on the show that left me uninterested. Pam having kids wasn't partciuarly satisfying to see either, and the Character of Michael scott was sort of getting a bit old with no real angle to push on around this time, I felt. Overall the season was still fun, but compared to the whole show it definitley came off as the worst.

And that explains it's position at the end of my ranking!
